Hello Everyone,
This information was passed on to me from a fellow PwMS - Stefan.
It looks like a great opportunity for people with disability to get involved in sailing.

Dear all
You may remember that I sent a message in October about the tall ship Tenacious seeking crew. They're looking again for crew on two voyages:
TNS473 Hobart to Melbourne 7-day voyage 12th - 18th November 2016 CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFO
TNS475 Melbourne to Sydney 7-day voyage 8th - 14th December 2016 CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFO
Please forward this email to anyone who you think might be interested... able-bodied or not. See forwarded email below for more information.
I'd be happy to talk to anyone interested and share my experience from sailing on Tenacious in September. It was fantastic!
Cheers
Yasmine

Subject: We Need Your Help
Dear Jubilee Sailing Trust Australia Supporter,
Thank you so much for your support to date, whether you have sailed on a daysail or voyage, given time as a volunteer, or just been wowed by our equally inspiring mission and tall ship Tenacious. We need your help...
Tenacious' presence in Australian waters has got Jubilee Sailing Trust Australia (JSTA) off to a great start. Day Sails have been booming. However Australia has been a little more tentative in grasping the power of longer voyages.
With students nearing the end of Uni exams or the school year and the holiday season fast approaching, we would like your help in filling the remaining berths on a couple of key passage voyages prior to Christmas. Economic circumstances should not prevent anyone from sailing. If you require financial assistance, please call us.

Our aim is to provide life-changing experiences to people living with and without disability. To do the this we must fill all available berths with people keen for such an adventure.
How can you help?
Promote your experiences amongst your friends, family, community, social media groups
Encourage others to book and start to experience the Jubilee Sailing Trust adventure
Promote JST Australia, our mission and these voyages to charitable or corporate organisations within your own network
Tell your neighbours about JST Australia
Some key points to remember about JST
A voyage onboard Tenacious encourages self-discovery and cultivates active participation
The supportive and well-designed environment quickly breaks-down prejudice, promotes equality and mutual understanding
It is where people find new strengths and learn to see strengths in others without being diverted by a perceived weakness.
The effect is an immersive personal development experience, increasing life skills and self-belief.
A voyage with the JST is about joining in and getting involved in all aspects of sailing the ship, regardless of physical ability.
Whether you are a tall ship enthusiast, fair-weather sailor or complete beginner - we welcome everyone.
This is not an activity for "those living with disability" - it is an activity for everyone including those living with disability
Economic circumstances should not prevent anyone from sailing
we help to fundraise,
we can assist with bursaries,
we already bursary assist 35% of the cost
Please do what you can to book yourselves and others onto a voyage and help us build a more inclusive society.
We look forward to seeing you, your family, friends and members of your community onboard in the future
Many thanks for your help and support.
Kind regards,
Jubilee Sailing Trust Australia
