At a treatment discussion, my neurologist, his registrar, and assistant, and a radiologist, my partner and me were reviewing my treatment and medication. As the neuro shuffled through the hard copies and disc copies of various scans very adroitly, I remembered something that made me smile. My mother is a trained teacher, she worked as a tutor with children who had reading and writing problems. One of the most popular picture-books for the boys was about acne:
'Spots — I gottem'
I shared this one, and we all smiled. A pity these ones have more of an impact, and are harder to remove.

Good to have a neurologist you are at ease with and has a sense of humour 😊
