I wanted to share a treatment that has been doing good things for me.
i had been to acupuncturist's before so when this practitioner was recommended to me I hesitated. Been there, done that and don't think there is anything in it.
However, after seeing Song I am converted and I only wish I had found him earlier.
2 things I would recommend before seeing Song;
Acupuncture is a cumulative treatment. When I first started seeing Song for the first 2 weeks I saw him 3 times a week. I now see him once a week to maintain. He starts treating the back side of your body and then asks you to flip over and do the fron side.
Needle sensation is an important part of the process. If he is putting a needle in your elbow, he will move it around gently until you feel needle sensation which maybe shooting pain down the arm to the fingers, or up the arm to the the shoulder. It feels like it wakes up the nerve channels and reconnects everything. He will explain this to you though.
Parking is directly out front and its maybe 10 steps to his rooms. He works from home in Pearce and treats I think about 4 people with MS, a young boy who is a quadriplegic as well as frozen shoulder and other ailments. Bathroom is just at the entrance too.
i have applied for assistance with the treatment through the NDIS as the is what I have identified as assisting me with my goal.
its not a cure but it has helped, better then anything else. I wouldn't keep going if he wasn't helping.
