Currently few universities offer educational innovation in Social Responsibility (SR) issues, however, one of the institutions that does have this specialized training is the Anáhuac University .
For Anáhuac, innovating in education issues is essential. His teaching method has served as an example for other schools and organizations in Mexico and different places in Latin America. His academic level is worthy of recognition thanks to the fact that he carries that responsible spirit in his veins.
Elements that promote educational innovation

A few days ago we had the opportunity to interview Miguel Ángel Santinelli, Director of the Faculty of Social Responsibility of the Universidad Anáhuac , who told us about the educational innovation of the university and how this institution received the Silver Eye recognition in the VII Territorial Social Responsibility Forum , which took place in the city of Valparaiso in Chile.

The social responsibility forum
From October 3 to 5, the VII Territorial Social Responsibility Forum was held , organized by the Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaíso and the Regional Observatory of Social Responsibility for Latin America and the Caribbean (ORSALC) of UNESCO. This year, the motto of the congress was: Innovative Paths for Social Responsibility in Living in Our Common Home.
Every year around 60 universities from Latin America and the Caribbean meet, where researchers, professors and teachers meet to engage and discuss issues related to social responsibility and education.
In this forum organized by UNESCO , different activities are carried out that help attendees to visualize progress and good practices regarding this topic in America. This year an opening lecture was held with the participation of rectors in specialized forums, subsequently the rectors established positions on the importance of this seventh forum.
The Anáhuac University, for its part, publicized educational innovation on issues of social responsibility with the following presentations:
The importance of the third sector .
University social responsibility .
Native peoples and the fight against poverty .
Doctoral research being carried out in the Doctorate in Innovation and Social Responsibility of the Faculty of Social Responsibility .
UNESCO awards the Anáhuac University
In addition to the presentations and lectures by experts on social responsibility education issues. There was participation in the White Gala , a space where the rectors and directors of the universities dress in white, the objective is to receive the Silver Eye recognition , awarded by ORSALC and UNESCO .
UNESCO awards only two Silver Eye awards a year to those universities, organizations and companies that direct all their efforts towards social responsibility.
